Members of the GPSA are involved in helping create the next generation of pediatric healthcare providers. In 2025, Dr.Andrei Radulescu was one of the board examiners for the Pediatric Surgery Oral Examination in Bujumbura Burundi as part of The College of Surgeons of East, Central and Southern Africa (COSECSA), the largest Surgical Training Institution in Sub-Saharan Africa. GPSA plans to expand its support for this organization that is training the future of pediatric surgery in Africa.
