Joanne began her nursing career in 2011. She spent the first three years working as an Operating Room Nurse in the Philippines where medical mission surgeries aided by the government were performed. Her involvement in medical missions exposed her to learning opportunities that enriched and shaped her vision and character.
In 2015 she moved to the United States and joined Loma Linda University Children’s Hospital as a Pediatric OR Nurse where she continues to practice. She aspires to continue lending her experience through medical missions and believes this organization is an excellent platform that provides access to exceptional health care from a highly professional team to underserved children throughout the world.
